We're Closed!!
An administrative decision was made in October, 2001 to
eliminate the position of Coordinator for Assessment of Student Learning.
The OASL has been closed since then. Those interested in assessment should
contact Dr. Roseann Hogan, Assistant Vice President for Institutional
Research and Assessment or their College Deans.
Our (Former) Mission
To assist faculty in improving student learning through the effective use of
assessment.
The primary concern of our office is with assessment of student learning at
the individual course, program, and department level to promote learning. The
focus is on formative rather than summative assessment.
